About This Species
A vocal, adaptable songbird common in gardens, woodland edges, and urban parks across much of sub-Saharan Africa, often seen in pairs or small groups feeding on fruit and insects. Its cheerful, bubbling call is frequently heard before the bird itself is spotted in dense foliage. It is active through most daylight hours and easy to find year-round in fruiting trees and shrubs.
