Yellow-Vented Bulbul

A common and vocal bird of gardens, scrub, mangroves and urban parks across Southeast Asia, often seen in pairs or small groups moving through low shrubs and fruiting trees. Its bright yellow undertail and cheerful chattering song make it easy to pick out even where it is not visible, and it stays active and vocal through most of the day. It can be found year-round and is one of the easiest species in the region to observe from a garden or park bench.
