Juniper Titmouse

This small gray songbird is tied closely to pinyon-juniper woodland across the interior western United States, foraging actively in juniper canopy for insects and seeds and readily visiting feeders near woodland edges. Listen for its rapid, repeated whistled song, often the easiest way to locate a pair in dense juniper cover.
