About This Species
Look for this small, active warbler working through scrub, grassland edges and cultivated land across South and Southeast Asia, where it flicks its cocked tail while gleaning insects from low vegetation. Its thin, wheezy calls and constant fidgeting movement through hedgerows and tall grass are the easiest way to locate it. Early morning in the drier, cooler months tends to bring the most activity and clearest views.
