Tundra Bean Goose

Breeds on remote Siberian tundra and winters in flocks on farmland, wet grassland and reservoirs across temperate Eurasia, often mixed in with other grey geese. A stocky goose with an orange band on an otherwise dark bill and orange legs, it is best picked out by comparing bill pattern and structure within a mixed goose flock rather than by plumage alone. Winter roosts and feeding fields in the colder months offer the most accessible views.
